I can't believe it is already half way through November! I know Halloween has come and gone, but I wanted to share our Halloween holiday with you all.
Patrick's Pumkin he carved!
Where I live Halloween is a lot of fun and chaotic for families! There are so many trick or treaters out here! To give you an idea...my mom lives on what is called Main Street, she bought a hundred dollars worth of candy last year and ran out in an hour! This year she was more prepared and didn't pass out handfuls to make it last longer. Even know it is crowded, we still had a blast!
Last year was Tegan's first year really trick or treating door to door. She was a cute little ladybug that wanted me to go up to every house with her.
Not this year!! She knew exactly what she was doing this year! She was running up to the houses this year and she knew exactly what to say!
Here is a picture of Tegan as a sweet little ladybug from Halloween last year.
(I was pregnant with Tensley here)
It was
hard for me at first not to say
"slow down Tegan, wait for mom!" But, as I watched her it brought a smile to my face to see how excited and how much fun she was having!
Smile! Little Tear!
This year Tegan wanted to be a Cotton Candy Princess! And that's exactly what she was! It worked out great because I didn't have to buy one thing for her costume! I had everything I needed at home...tulle, pink paint, thick white paper, one of her old ballet outfits, ballet slippers, and cotton (that I unstuffed from an old pillow). She loved it!
Tensley was a little Flower which ended up being too warm, but she was still adorable!
Patrick and I were a box of Nerds candy! It was so much fun because we made our costume together! We stayed up until 2am painting, laughing and eating Nerds candy the night before Halloween!! Patrick got the boxes from his work, our shirts and glasses were from the dollar store, and our tights were from Target.
Silly Fam!
Tegan and two of her friends, who she has known since she was a baby!
Excited little girls running to the Boo Bash and Tricker Treating!
A couple of Nerds!
Here is my Brother Clayton from Halloween! Pretty creepy!! There is what he normally looks like too!
Here is my Lil Brother Caylon from Halloween. He was a Refrigerator!!! CUTEST refrigerator I have ever seen!! His mommy, Jodi (my step mom too) made this adorable costume for him! Sooo creative, LOVE IT!!!
Have a Happy day!!!
